While much of the recruitment news recently has been from the transfer portal, there is still some noteworthy recruitments news from the high school level.
One of the heroes of the Illinois state tournament and top available seniors in the Midwest has made their college commitment. Coco Urlacher of Fremd and Mac Irvin Fire will be headed out west for her college ball to St. Mary’s. The WCC program had just offered her a few days prior to the commitment. She had also been offered by Chicago State, Eastern Illinois, Radford, and SIUE.
Also coming from Fremd, Nicole Wulfram has made her college commitment. The senior will be staying close by with her commitment to North Central College.
Another commitment out of Illinois from a senior was from Danya Carr. The Marengo and Illinois Hustle forward will be headed to UW-Platteville for her college career.
UIC has extended an offer to a local Chicago area junior. This went to Emma O’Brien of Lyons Township High School and the IL Lady Lightning. Western Carolina had also offered the guard earlier this year in addition to a few other previous division one offers.
Midwest Elite and Henderson County junior guard A’tylia Green has picked up an offer from an in-state division two program. This came from Kentucky State.
Also from the Midwest Elite picking up an offer was both sophomore Amirah Jordan and junior Brianna Wilkins. The two were both offered by Eastern Kentucky.
Anna Sachire, a 6’1” junior forward of Penn High School and Always 100 has been offered by St. Mary’s College (IN).
6’O junior forward Ava Anderson of the IN Elite Havoc and Mt. Zion had been offered by Franklin College after a visit.
Out of Missouri, senior Marian Mayfield has announced her commitment to Westminister College.
