Available 2025 G Mitch Finefrock Approaching Record Books

While many seniors across Ohio and the region have made their college commitments, there are still some impactful ones available. One of these being Mitch Finefrock, the 6’2” guard of Jackson High School and All Ohio Select.

After being one of the top shooters on the NY2LA Association last season, now into his senior season Finefrock is showing he’s one of the top shooters in all of Ohio too. This is not just for this season but in history as he is making his way up the Ohio high school record books. Right now, he is shooting just over 52% from three at 63 for 121. This would be good for seventh all time in Ohio history. He has already become the all-time leader in threes made at Jackson High School with 224 made. At his current pace, he will end up in the top 12 in Ohio history for threes made.

Highlighted by his great shooting ability the senior has been able to receive several offers from both division one and two programs. This includes at the division one level from Columbia, Rider, and St. Francis (PA) in addition to Jefferson University, a division two program. In addition to his offers, he has also previously visited several other schools including Harvard, Holy Cross, Indiana Wesleyan, Yale, and others.

“I’m looking for a good fit where my skill set can add value to the team and the opportunity to compete for playing time early in my career,” Finefrock said about his search for a future college team. With having visited all the schools who are recruiting him and nearing the end of his senior season, Finefrock is next eyeing his college commitment. “I am open to committing at any time to a program that is a good fit for me,” he said on his commitment timeline.
