“I have been working hard on my game since the end of last season,” Daly contributed to his breakout junior season. “I put a lot of time in the weight room getting stronger. I was able to add fifteen pounds to my frame in the off-season. I also hit the gym everyday trying to improve my shot. I set a goal for myself that I wanted to be first team all-conference and compete for player of the year in the Bay Conference. I had a really good summer playing with my Wisconsin Blizzard team which helped me build my confidence in my game.”
When asked about his game, Daly said “I am a very versatile player that can post up and knock down the three. My length helps me play tough defense and rebound against other teams’ post and wing players.”
“I want to help my team improve as the season progresses,” Daly wants to accomplish for the rest of the season. “We are a young team that is constantly improving. I want us to peak at the end of the season during tournament time, so we can hopefully surprise some teams. I want to continue to average a double-double and increase my assist totals to help us win games.”
