Senior Luke Westerdale has recently received another division two offer. The 6’1” guard of Gabriel Richard High School (MI) and The Academy picked up his first division two offer back in September and this past weekend picked up his second.
The newest scholarship offer for Westerdale came from Wayne State. The offer comes when the senior took a visit to the in-state school this past Saturday. “it was a great game versus GVSU that came down to the wire which really showed what a great atmosphere the school has,” he said about the visit.
The other division two offer he holds a from Ferris State in addition to a division three offer from Calvin University. Some of the other programs who are showing the most interest in him right now include Cornell, Michigan Tech, and Southeast Oklahoma State.
Even with a couple of scholarship offers to his name, Westerdale has no commitment date in mind. “I love every school recruiting me and my main focus right now is on winning a state championship,” he said on his commitment timeline. In has been a big start to his senior season. Not only is he averaging 23 points per game, but also scored his one thousandth career point.
