Recruitment News – November 11th

In our first recruiting news article, we take a look at the noteworthy news from around the Midwest region over the past week. 

One of the biggest pieces of recruitment news came from a commitment from one of the top point guards in the Midwest region. 2025 Nikki Kerstein of Mac Irvin Fire has made her commitment to Missouri. 

There was another commitment to a division one program, this one from Presly Samz. The junior of Wisconsin Academy made her commitment to Lipscomb. 

Trinity Jones, one of the top juniors in the entire nation, took a visit to Clemson. She was also offered by NC State recently.

Bridget Rifenburg has continued to grow her recruitment stock over the past months with more and more offers coming in. The newest for the 2026 guard of Benet Academy and Wolverinas came from Cornell. She has also been offered by Richmond, Milwaukee, Akron, South Dakota, St. Thomas, and others. 

As one of the top players in Illinois’ 2026 class, Danyella Mporokoso continues to pile up the division one offers. The newest for the guard came from Cleveland State. She has also been offered by DePaul, Northwestern, Marquette, Butler, UIC, Illinois State, Buffalo, Harvard, Belmont, among plenty of others.

Another 2026 in Illinois who continues to be a very popular name amongst division one coaches is Lexi Baer. The newest offer for the Midwest Elite product came from Toledo. 

M14 2026 5’10” guard Nicole Wabinski of Oswego East High School has been offered by Benedictine University. 

Katherine MacLeod, a junior of East Leyden High School (IL) and Pink Elite was offered by Judson University. 

From Nazareth Academy (IL) and the Wolverinas, sophomore Sophia Towne was offered by Butler while on a visit. 

It was a big week out of Illinois, another commitment came from Nishali Musunuri of Stevenson High School and ALL IN who announced her commitment to Carnegie Mellon. 

In other news from a senior from ALL IN, Katie Barker of Maine South High School (IL) was offered by Babson College on a visit. 

A commitment coming out of Wisconsin was from Cassie Krause. The senior guard/forward committed to Oakton College. Krause played with the Wisconsin Shooters. 

Another commitment from Wisconsin came from Jordyn Jaglinski. The junior guard of Team Wisconsin program announced her commitment to Augustana University. She visited and was offered by Augustana last month. 

A commitment out of Indiana came from Carley Moellering. The senior of OPS and Homestead High School will be staying in-state with a commitment to Indiana Wesleyan. 

In other Indiana news, 2026 Kamrah Banks continues to add to her lengthy list of offers with the newest coming from Cleveland State. 

Graci Watson, of Paris High School and Indiana Elite Havoc, was offered by Illinois College while on a visit. 

Senior point guard Alainna Poisson of Example Sports program was offered by Illinois Wesleyan.
