2025 Sean Reynolds Talks Commitment

On Monday evening, senior Sean Reynolds announced his college commitment. The 6’1” point guard of Dekalb High School and the Illinois Wolves chose D’Youville University, a division two program in Buffalo, New York.

D’Youville had just offered Reynolds last month on his visit on October 10th-12th. When talking about his visit to the Buffalo school, Reynolds said “I connected with the players and coaches very well. The campus was super nice.” Some of the other programs that were recruiting him included Augustana, Drury, Grand Valley State, Penn, Trine, UW-Parkside, and others.

“I like the belief they have in their players; they value academics and their plan for me to be successful on the court,” the senior said on his decision to choose D’Youville.

“I see myself fitting right into their system,” Reynolds said about his future playing for D’Youville. “Offensively by my shooting and passing abilities and defensively right away.” In his junior season, he was third team 4A all-state by the IBCA. In Reynolds, D’Youville is landing a high IQ and skilled player with a very good ability to run the point as well to his outside shooting ability.
