2027 PG DEVIN CLEVELAND ADD ANOTHER OFFER

While only a freshman, Devin Cleveland has continued to add up the scholarship offers for himself. Over the weekend, the 6’1” point guard of Kenwood Academy and the Mac Irvin Fire has received his newest scholarship offer, this once coming from in-state University of Illinois.

With the addition of the Illini offer, Cleveland now has multiple high major offers and is nearing double digit offers in total. His other offers include Arizona State, Bryant, DePaul, Hampton, Illinois State, Northern Illinois, and Western Illinois.

Cleveland is part of an elite 2027 class in the state of Illinois that also includes Jaxson Davis and Davion Thompson. After missing the first several weeks of the season due to an injury, the point guard is now back on the court. While he may not have had the impact on the court as the other two freshmen early in the season, he is quickly catching up. Going up against one of the hottest teams in the state in their most recent game over the weekend, Warren Township with Jaxson Davis, Cleveland was already showing what makes him such a special talent. In the 85-55 victory for Kenwood, Cleveland led them with 20 points.

During the past grassroots season, Cleveland started to make a big name for himself while playing with the Mac Irvin Fire. Even before entering high school back in July, he picked up his first scholarship offer. Even while playing up a level back in July, he was one of the top guards at the 15U NY2LA Final Chapter Tournament with his highly advanced skill set.
