2026 Wes Rahn Pulls In First Offer

Following a breakout spring playing with Wisconsin Academy, 2026 Wes Rahn just picked up his first scholarship offer. The 6’8” forward was able to pick up an offer from Northern Michigan. In his sophomore season at Lakeside Lutheran High School (WI), he averaged 16.5 points and 12.3 rebounds while leading his team to a 27-3 record.

The Northern Michigan offer for Rahn comes following the June 15th date when college coaches can directly reach out to the 2026 class. “I had a good talk with Coach and felt like he has my best interests as a developing player at heart. That means a lot,” Rahn said about Northern Michigan.

Not only did Rahn pull in his first offer in recent days but also had several college programs reach out to him. Cedarville, Michigan Tech, Minnesota-Duluth, and Winona State were among the schools reaching out to him.

“It feels great and I’m very thankful,” Rahn said about receiving his first scholarship offer. “There’s still a lot of work ahead and ways that I need to improve my game but getting my first offer makes it feel like I’m on the right path to reaching my goals to play at the next level.”

During the spring, Rahn was one of the top 2026 forwards on the NY2LA Association. Back in May during the live period at the NY2LA Next Level Invitational he helped Wisconsin Academy go undefeated at 4-0. When asked about his spring season, he said “It’s been a good season with great competition. There have been a number of good personal matchups with talented bigs, which have helped improve my defensive game. On the other side, I have a great group of teammates who play unselfish team basketball, which helps us all develop as the kind of players we want to be when playing for our school teams, too.”
