2026 Guard Codie Jones Continues To Emerge

As well to all the players in Wisconsin’s 2026 class with scholarship offers, there are also some emerging ones who are just starting to see their recruitment start up. One of these who is just starting to get on colleges radars with his stellar junior season is Codie Jones.

In his junior season, Jones has been one of the leading scorers in Wisconsin. The 6’3” guard is currently averaging 23.7 points per game for Brown Deer High School. His outside shooting has been a major factor for his lofty scoring total. He is shooting 41.1% from the outside while having hit 81 three pointers in 22 games on the season currently. This has helped him recently hit the 1,000 point milestone for his high school career. Not only is he leading his team in scoring but also in rebounding with 6.9. He is also averaging 1.8 assists and 2.6 steals.

“Smooth,” is the first thing that Jones said to describe his own game. Adding in, “because I help in so many ways, I can stretch the floor with my ability to shoot and I can play down low because of my height. I can also pass the ball really well.”

As Jones and Brown Deer head toward the end of the regular season, he is looking to finish the regular season strong, make a deep playoff run and win a gold ball. Following the high school season, he is still unsure of who he will be playing for during the upcoming spring grassroots season.

With the growth of his game during his junior season, Jones has started to attract the interest of a few college programs. Ones of these being on the division two level with Northern Michigan who has consistently recruited the state of Wisconsin extremely well over the past few years.
