2025 SG CALEB STEGER TALKS FIRST OFFER

Caleb Steger, the 6’5” two guard of Jesuit Prep in Dallas, has just picked up his first scholarship offer. The offers for the sophomore came from an in-state Big 12 program.

TCU and Jamie Dixon became the first program to pull the trigger in offering Steger. The offer comes after Steger took a visit to the nearby Fort Worth campus. “It’s a blessing to know that my hard work is starting to pay off,” he said about receiving his first offer. Not only is it his first offer, but the trip to TCU was also his first visit.

“It was a great visit, especially getting to see practice and look around campus, and the basketball facility,” Steger said about the TCU visit. While it is early in his recruitment, there are already a couple of things that he likes about TCU. “The high energy the team plays with and the fan base.”

In his sophomore season that just finished, Steger averaged 15 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game to help Jesuit Prep to a 19-13 record. When describing his own game, he said “I’m a high energy player that can score from all three levels on the floor and someone who can give you a spark on defense guard the one through five.” This spring, Steger will be playing with Southern Assault.
