2025 NY2LA The Final Chapter – RR’s 16U Standouts

A very talented field of 16U teams at the NY2LA Final Chapter, here are some of the standouts I saw.

Nathan Munson – 2027 – PG – Flight Athletics

One of the many prospects who made a name for themselves this past weekend. Munson has a nice balance between scoring the ball and playmaking. He scores the ball from all three levels and creates for himself off the dribble. When the defense closes in on him he makes the right pass to open teammates. I really like his ability to score around the basket, look out for a breakout school season for Munson.

Pete Wedewer – 2027 – PG – DCBA

Wedewer impressed Sunday morning knocking down four three pointers with a 19 point performance in a win. He was consistent all game long creating for himself, whether it was in the open court or from three. He has a really tight handle and was crafty with the ball around the basket. Finishes with floaters or acrobatic finishes, Wedewer just puts the ball in the basket.

Johnny Roehl – 2027 – G – All In

It was no question that Roehl was one of the best shooters at The Final Chapter. He lit up the nets all weekend long. He can shoot it off the catch, off the bounce, and in transition. He shoots the ball with a ton of confidence and always seems to get to his spots and capitalize. Roehl had a breakout tournament for All In.

Logan Morrish – 2027 – W – Inspire U

At 6’4”, Morrish has nice size and length on the wing which makes him a key player on both ends of the floor for Inspire U. He scored 14 points in a blowout win, hitting open threes and playing well in transition. He showed a good ability to guard multiple positions, which is something college coaches will be looking for.

Lucas O’Brien – 2027 – W – Pride Roc

O’Brien can flat out shoot the three ball. He scored 14 points, pouring in 4 threes in a win. You truly can not leave him any space or he’s going to make the defense pay. He plays with a good motor and could score at the rim off of two feet. He was a huge part of his team’s success this past weekend, as he and his teammates played well together.

Darius Foy – 2027 – F – Drive Pro Select

A lot of upside to be on the lookout for out of Foy. Standing at 6’8, he showed flashes of being a great offensive rebounder, always attacking the glass trying to get his team extra points. His game as a low post scorer will only improve, he uses his body well and has a soft touch around the rim. I was really impressed with his ability to pass out of the post, finding open shooters out of the doubles.
