As we get deeper into the spring, the available talent for the 2025 class is drying up. Though one of the top available guards in the class is Traevon Koch. He is a 6’3” guard of SFA Academy who is originally from Minnesota.
At the recent NY2LA Spring Extravaganza in Iowa, Koch was named first team all-tournament while playing with the Grassroot Sizzle while leading them to a 3-1 record. He was one of the bounciest players of the tournament in addition to showing his three-level scoring ability to be able to have himself a 24-point game including 17 in a single half.
Right now in his recruitment, the schools showing the most interest in him include Arkansas Little Rock, Cal State Bakersfield, Mississippi State Valley, and Southern Utah. Koch said there are plenty of other schools recruiting him but these are the ones showing the most interest currently. So far he has been on visits to both Arkansas Little Rock and Cal State Bakersfield of this group.
In addition to these division one schools recruiting him, Koch is also being recruiting by junior college program. If the right offer from a division one program does not come along that is a great fit for him, Koch says is he interested in attending a junior college program.
