2025 Bradley Longcor Announces Commitment

One of the top ten players in Illinois’ 2025 class recently announced his college commitment. Bradley Longcor, a 6’4” point guard of Quincy High School and the Illinois Wolves will be headed west with his commitment to Santa Clara.

The commitment comes after Longcor had just taken his official visit to the California school last week which he called “great”. The rising senior also added in about the visit, “Went through the pros and cons of it and couldn’t find any cons. Felt like a place where I can really improve and more importantly make it to march madness. Didn’t take long after my visit to make a decision.”

Longcor chose Santa Clara over his other offers coming from Illinois State, Northern Iowa, Southeast Missouri State, Southern Illinois, Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, UC-San Diego, and Western Illinois. “The main things I love about Santa Clara are the coaching staff, the playstyle and the player development they have which is top notch” he said about his decision choosing Santa Clara over his other options. “And off the court they had everything that my family and I were looking for.”

“I see my game fitting there because of their fast playstyle and the way they let their guards play and make plays,” he said about his future on the court at the West Coast Conference school. “Also, the ball screen actions they put their guards in I feel like I can excel in. Another plus is that they bring in big bigs that have high IQ and play the right way.

In his junior season, Longcor was named first team 4A all-state by the IBCA. He helped Quincy reach the sectional championships. Longcor currently ranks eight in the NY2LA class of 2025 player rankings for Illinois.
