2025 6’11” Will Garlock Talks Badgers Commitment

While players in the 2024 class continue to finish up their commitments, Wisconsin continues to add on to their 2025 class. Last August, the Badgers received a commitment from point guard Zach Kinziger. Now they have landed a commitment from another in-state product and Team Herro player in Will Garlock.

In his junior season at Middleton High School, the 6’11” post averaged 16.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. Wisconsin had extended an offer to Garlock last summer. He chose Wisconsin over offers from Iowa, Marquette, Penn State, and Virginia Tech.

Garlock had taken a visit to Madison last summer which he said he like a lot. “I got to connect with the players and watch practice and got a sense of what it would be like to play there,” he said about the visit.

“I like the coaching staff and the players,” Garlock said about his decision on choosing Wisconsin. “I like the style at which they play at and also the academics that the school offers.”

“Yes and no,” Garlock said on if Wisconsin being his home state school played a big role in his decision. “I wouldn’t say that it was a huge factor going into my decision but yes, it is cool and will be fun to play in front of my family and friends with me only living about twenty minutes away from campus.”
