2024 SG TIM FRANKS TRENDING UPWARD

Tim Franks (Homestead HS) is a young prospect to watch closely in Wisconsin’s 2024 class. At 6’4, Franks has good size at the SG position, efficient shot mechanics with a quick release, and has proven to be a natural scorer. Franks can make spot-up threes with consistency, is able to work in the midrange game off 1-2 dribbles and does a good job of moving without the ball offensively. He has also shown a knack for slashing to the rim and finishing at the basket, using his size to be effective in traffic.

As a Freshman last winter, Franks averaged 11 points and 4 rebounds for Homestead HS, including 15pts/4.2reb on 53% from three over his last 5 games of the season. Franks continued his hot shooting into the grassroots season for Chapman Basketball Academy and looks to have a grown an inch or two over the last 6 months as well.

Joe Chapman, program director for Chapman Basketball Academy, praised Frank’s work ethic and told NY2LA Sports that Franks has added almost 40 lbs. since last high school season.

“Everyday he’s getting 1 percent better. One of the hardest working kids. He shoots the ball at a high clip, can finish at the basket and has now added a 15-foot jumper to his game.”

Franks checks a lot of boxes as a young prospect – size, shooting, work ethic, high character and high academic – and should see his stock continue to rise over the next 12-18 months.
