2024 G ISAIAH ALLEN UPDATES RECRUITMENT

Over the past couple of years, the game of Isaiah Allen has continued to take great strides with his game. During his junior year at Milwaukee Lutheran High School, the 6’4” guard averaged 15.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He then continued that with a stellar grassroots season with Chapman Basketball Academy.

After a recent visit, Allen picked up his second scholarship offer coming from Winona State. “It was great, I loved the campus and what the school has to offer. It was great to see the players and the history of the school” he said about the visit. “I also like it’s not far away from home, but I loved the coaches and how welcoming they felt.”

As well to the offer from Winona State, Allen also holds an offer from Northern Michigan University. When asked about when he likes about them, he first mentioned their head coach Matt Majkrzak because of “how he has helped the program. A lot also because a pretty decent amount of Wisconsin players that attend NMU. Also, I have a grassroots teammate (Michael McNabb) that’s committed there so it would be fun running it back again.” As well to his pair of offers, he also has a few other division two programs showing interest in him including Michigan Tech and St. Leo.

Before he finishes off his high school career, Allen is looking to accomplish multiple things in his senior season. Among the list are sectional and regional championship. As well to some personal goals including conference player of the year and reaching the one-thousand-point mark. “Most importantly prove everybody that I’m one of the best players in the 2024 class.”
