REECE BEEKMAN - 2020 - PG - WI UNITED

Beekman had a solid championships game for United, leading his team up the court with quickness and control throughout. The smart floor general controlled the pace of the game for his team and helped his teammates, particularly Billings get his rhythm and find points on the break. He also finished some plays himself with some lay-ins and a three which tallied 12 points, but his mark was really left with his 7 assists and 3 steals in the win.

DONOVAN BILLINGS - 2020 - C - WI UNITED
Billings had it rolling from start to finish in the Platinum Championship game against a very stout Nebraska Hoops team. Aided by some good guard play and excellent pressure defense, Billings ran the floor and got into position to score constantly and then finished at the basket. He was virtually unstoppable at times throughout the game, dominated the rebounds on both ends of the floor and led United to the GNBA 6th Grade Championship victory with a monster 31 points and 26 rebounds.

BOWEN BORN - 2020 - PG - KINGDOM HOOPS ELITE
Born had a solid game for Kingdom Hoops in a hard-fought loss on Sunday. The tough floor general made some nice plays on both ends of the floor and had a sweet looking three sail through the net, as well as knocking down 5 free throws in the game. He finished with 14 points.

CALVIN HARRIS - 2020 - G - IOWA BARNSTORMERS
In an earlier game on Sunday, Harris was the leading scorer for his team and worked really hard on both ends of the floor. The Barnstormer guard ripped in 8 rebounds and also got in the mix with some steals. Offensively, he scored in different ways including a three and a couple free throws, while also doling out 2 assists in the game and finishing with 15 points.

JACK HERMES - 2020 - G - WI SHOOTERS
Hermes helped to lead the Shooters to a Gold Championship win. The quick guard made plays attacking the hoop and finishing shots, hit a nice three at one point and also got out in transition after getting 3 steals in the game. He finished with 17 points and had 4 rebounds as well.

JAKOBE COLES - 2020 - F - NEBRASKA HOOPS ELITE
Coles was sensational for Nebraska Hoops, leading his team back into the title game with some outstanding shots. The 5-9 forward has good handles and used them to get himself some open looks at the basket from the outside, hitting a couple step-backs from the wings and drilling 4 three’s total in the game. He also made some plays on the drive and finished at the rim a few times, scoring a team-high 29 points along with 9 rebounds 5 steals and 2 assists.

CARSON SMITH - 2020 - SG - RAY ALLEN SELECT
Smith was the leading scorer for RAS in the Gold Championship game and did a nice job making plays. Despite the loss, Smith found the bottom of the net four times from beyond the arc and also sank a pair of free throws in the game. He finished the title game with 14 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals while going 4-for-6 from the perimeter.

JALEN SUGGS - 2020 - G/F - TEAM SIZZLE
In a semi-final matchup, Suggs helped lead his team to another win with some outstanding overall guard play. While below his average scoring, he still put up a solid 16-point effort in that regard by finishing lay-ups and hitting a couple jumpers, but it was his 10 assists that was most impressive in that game, helping others score and making precise passes. He also contributed 4 rebounds and 3 steals to his totals.

MIEKYAH THOMAS - 2020 - G - KC POWERGROUP
Leading the charge for PowerGroup to take home the Silver Championship, Thomas made a number of excellent shots for his team in both games Sunday. In the championship, he scored 17 points while going a perfect 7-of-7 from the field including 1 three-pointer, and he also secured 5 rebounds.

JALEN TRAVIS - 2020 - F/C - TEAM SIZZLE
Travis did a really nice job early on Sunday of controlling the inside for his team and making plays when they were available. The solid young post got some rebounds defensively, but then showed a little versatility much like his older brother when he knocked down a clean three and finished the semi with 13 points in the win.
