Currently regarded by NY2LASPORTS.COM, SCOUT.COM, and RIVALS.COM as the #1 prospect in America and checking in with ESPNU.COM at #3, Muhammad is an explosive left handed scoring machine who can fill it up from anywhere on the court. Instinctive, explosive, and skilled, Muhammad is the most consistent and dominant performer in the 2012 class and the measuring stick from coast to coast.
Isaiah Austin – 2012 – C – Texas PRO
Already committed verbally to Baylor, Austin is a long lanky skilled big man with instincts, footwork, and skill who creates a variety of matchup problems for opposing teams. He can knock down the perimeter shot, score on the blocks, put the ball on the floor, and take over the game at times on both ends of the court. At 7’0” tall Austin is a matchup problem for everyone he goes up against and he is one of the major components to a loaded Texas PRO squad headed to Wisconsin this week. A consensus top 5-10 prospects nationally on every board.
Mitch McGary – 2012 – PF – SYF Players
One of the hottest prospects in the country, McGary is a powerful specimen who pairs skill and power with explosive athleticism for a big man. He can score on the perimeter, dominate on the block, score in transition, etc. His ability to run the floor, handle the ball, stroke the jumper, and power home dunk after dunk make him one of the most impressive and dominant prospects in the 12’ class nationally. Virtually every school in the country is on McGary who is a consensus top 5-10 prospect nationally on every board.
Perry Ellis – 2012 – PF – Kansas Pray & Play Players
Another virtual consensus top 5-10 prospect nationally, Ellis boasts three state chips already and brings to the table a smooth effortless game that produces big numbers.
