After a slow start by each team, they both got it going late in the first half. While Oak Creek was able to build a ten-point lead down the stretch of the second half, New Berlin Eisenhower would not go away getting contributions from numerous players and was able to tie it up. In the end, a pair of free throws from JaQuan Turner for Oak Creek in the final minute was the difference to give them the 64-60 win.
Tyson Busch – 2027 – PG – Oak Creek
Busch is a highly elusive playmaking point guard who had another standout performance as part of his strong junior season. He scored 19 points in the winning effort as well 5 assists. He moves well with the ball with his change or direction and quickness. Busch was often getting into the defense and setting up his teammates including a trio of drive and kick out threes. More than just a playmaker on the attack, the junior also shoots it well from the outside. This including hitting back-to-back threes in the game.
Mavox Nimani – 2026 – G/F – New Berlin Eisenhower
Nimani made a ton of plays down the stretch in a comeback attempt. This included drilling a three with just over 90 seconds to play to tie the game all up. The lengthy 6’4” wing also made several plays on the attack. He was getting into the paint well and used his size to finish over the top as well as using good vision to dump it off inside for a few assists.
Christopher Nimmer – 2026 – G – New Berlin Eisenhower
The senior guard came alive in the final minutes especially with his scoring. In just the last six minutes of the game, Nimmer scored 8 clutch points in the comeback. He was key in helping turn a double-digit deficit down and tie the game up. The guard has tight handle and is quick with the ball bursting by defenders. He is also a good passer on the attack including a key assist on a drive and kick three with ninety seconds to play to tie it up.
JaQuan Turner – 2028 – G/F – Oak Creek
Turner had one of the top games of his season as he went for 22 points leading Oak Creek to the win. This included plenty of key plays in the final minutes. With five minutes to play he hit a clutch three to push the lead out to ten. In the final couple of minutes he added in a pair of baskets getting to the rim as well as a pair of free throws with a minute to play that broke the tie and were the eventual game winning points. He also had a steal in the final seconds that sealed the win. While just a sophomore, Turner showed plenty to like about his game. As well to his length and athleticism, he showed a good ability to get to the basket and finish gliding by defenders with his long strides.
