This game featured one of the best big men matchups you will see in Wisconsin with Donovan Davis for Freedom going up against Henry Gruetzmacher for Brookfield Central. While Freedom had a lead throughout the game, Brookfield Central was always able to keep it close. This changed in the final few minutes of play as Freedom was able to pull away and win it 74-58.

Donovan Davis – 2027 – F – Freedom

It was a star performance throughout this game by Davis in the win. He started quickly hitting a three on his team’s first possession and sealed the win with just over two minutes to play with an end-to-end and one play. He is without questions one of the most versatile players in the nations 2027 class which showed all game as he finished with a stat line of 25 points on 9-12 shooting in addition to 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 5 steals, and 2 blocks. There are few juniors nationally with his size at 6’8” along with versatility, advanced skill set, solid build, and energy. His versatile skill set was on display going 2-3 from deep, ability to be a primary ball handler, court vision creating for others, all in addition to his defensive versatility too.

Henry Greutzmacher – 2026 – F/C – Brookfield Central

The 6’9” post has continued to greatly develop throughout his high school career to be one of the top big men in the regions 2026 class. Not only did he show his elevated skill level but also improved explosiveness. While The Green Bay commit was at his best offensively down in the post, he also scored it from the mid-range and three with a good-looking jumper. Not only does he have the size and length but plays with good strength down in the post bullying defenders to score it playing with his back to the basket. He scored 19 points in the game in addition to 8 rebounds, 2 assists, and a block.

Evan Prusko – 2026 – PG – Brookfield Central

This was an impressive showing for Prusko who showcased his ability to score the ball effectively but also a good ability to run the point. The 6’2” point guard scored 16 points along with 5 assists. Prusko played strong with the ball in his hands and has good court vision. He can shoot the ball, hitting his only three-point attempt of the game, but was at his best on the attack. Prusko showed his ability to finish all around the paint in heavy traffic as well to quick decision making on the attack.

Kaden Vandenberg – 2027 – SG – Freedom

The junior got off to a very quick start in this game to give Freedom an early lead with a quick 14 points in the first 10 minutes pf action. He was the game’s leading scorer finishing with 27 points. He did much of his damage with his great shooting ability as he went 5-7 from three. Not only is he a knockdown shooter when spotting up from the outside but also has great range. Multiple of his threes made came from near NBA range. More than a shooter however, he was also able to score it getting into the paint plus added in 5 assists.
