Another quiet week on the recruitment front with both the high school and college seasons underway. Here is the recent news over the last seven days.
Bemidji State was able to get a commitment from one of the top available in-state senior big men. This came from Brayden Gorton, a 6’9” power forward of Washburn High School and Minnesota Fury.
A commitment from Missouri’s 2026 class came from Lucas Dolan. the 6’3” two guard of Lathrop High School committed to Missouri Valley College
Braxton Keathley continues to be a very popular target out of Kentucky’s 2027 class. The newest offer for the junior guard of Tennessee Impact came from East Carolina University. Some of his other offer offers are from Ohio, Bowling Green, UT Martin, Eastern Kentucky.
After receiving an offer from Kansas a few weeks ago, Davion Thompson has picked up an offer from another Big 12 program. This one came from Texas Tech for the 2027 guard of Link Academy and the Meanstreets.
Senior forward Lawson Bynum of MidPro South and O’Fallon has recently picked up a pair offers. These came from Bryant and Stratton College and then Fishers College.
Kingston and Kaiden Rhodes received an offer while on a visit. The senior point guard duo of Crown Point High School and Darius Garland Elite picked up this offer from Manchester University.
Auburn got a visit from one of the top wings in the nations 2028 class. This came from 6’7” Jordan Cook of Louisville Ballard and the Kentucky Basketball Club. He already holds several high major offers.
6’7” senior forward Xavier Pendergrass of Lansing Waverly and The Family picked up an offer from Oakland Community College. This comes days after he was also offered by Southwestern Michigan.
