We’re moving on to part three of the 2027’s that are next up as there is so much talent in the regions junior class. Here are the next five to look out for this season.

Colin Julien – 2027 – G – Whitefish Bay

From his grassroots season with Chapman Basketball Academy, Julien has proven to be one of the higher upside guards in Wisconsin’s 2027 class. He is a do-it-all guard with his physical tools and skill set. He stands at 6’3” with good length but also has a good ability to run the point, shoots it well from three, can defend multiple positions, some quickness, knows how to play, and can be a playmaker on the attack. Julien holds three division two offers currently.

Jensen LePla – 2027 – SG – Goodrich

While LePla did pick up his first couple of division two offers this summer, LePla is still an under recruited player with all he offers. There is much for college coaches to like from his game starting with his positional size at 6’5” as a two guard plus strength and athleticism but is also a very skilled scorer. This continued to be evident all spring and summer with D Rice Elite, especially with a 37-point game in the summer. Michigan Tech and Saginaw Valley State have both offered and look for more to come in this season.

Daniel Spychala – 2027 – PF – Crystal Lake Central

It was a big stock boosting summer for Spychala during his time with Full Package. This was especially the case at the NY2LA Summer Jam in July where he averaged 17.7 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. Not only does he have some size at 6’7” but also has shown good perimeter skills with his ability to get to the basket and shoot it from the outside. If he progresses from the summer, look for him to have a big junior season.

William Tucker – 2027 – PG – Dubuque Senior

Over the summer with DCBA, Tucker proved to be one of the better point guards on the NY2LA Association. This started at the Final Chapter tournament where he averaged 17.7 points along with 5.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists. He followed that up at Summer Jam as one of the top assist leaders with 5.3 per game. Not only is he a skilled point guard with good vision but also shoots it well from the outside and can get into the paint often. There is much to like from his play that should translate to his junior season.

Zeke Zuberbuhler – 2027 – G – Darlington

Zuberbuhler had a breakout sophomore season when he led Darlington with 19.9 points to a 21-6 season. He continued to grow that into the grassroots season with Wisconsin Swing and just a matter of time before plenty more college coaches take notice. The 6’2” guard led the 16U division of the NY2LA Midwest Classic in scoring with 20.3 points but is also a highly impactful guard with everything he can do. He is a two-way guard with his versatile defensive play, is an effective rebounded as a guard, plus can score from the outside and around the paint.
