While the college season has started this week, it hasn’t slowed down the recruitment. Here is all the regions recruitment news from the past week.
SIUE was able to land one of the top available seniors in their own state. This came from Jayden Riley, a point guard of Yorkville Christian and Young & Reckless. He also had been offered by Eastern Illinois, Le Moyne, South Carolina State, and others.
Nick Shrewsberry will be playing for a familiar coach next season after making his commitment. The senior wing guard of South Bend St. Joseph will be playing for his father, Micah Shrewsberry with his commitment to Notre Dame.
Reach Legends and Port Huron Northern senior Alex Jamison had made his college commitment. The guard selected Lake Superior State who had offered him back in June.
One of the biggest headlines recently came from an early commitment from the 2027 class out of Wisconsin. Team Herro and Milwaukee Juneau’s Dooney Johnson made his pledge to Gonzaga. The highly touted junior chose the ‘Zags over his other offers from Indiana, Marquette, SMU, Syracuse, Washington, Wisconsin, and others.
A former Wisconsin prep standout out, Vaughn Karvala, also made his commitment. The senior of Team Herro and Bella Vista Prep decided upon Indiana. He was one of the most sought after senior wings in the nation and had recently announced a top three of Cal, Indiana, and Xavier.
Another commitment out of Wisconsin came from Luke Bauer. The senior wing of CBA South and New Berlin Eisenhower will be headed to South Dakota with his commitment to Dakota State.
One more commitment from Wisconsin was made by Evan Kern. Kern, a senior guard of 24Up and New Berlin West, will be staying in-state with his pick of Stevens Point.
Moving over to Indiana for a commitment, one was made by Davis Cowan. The senior point guard of Wawasee will be headed to University of St. Francis.
Parker Odle, a senior of Charlestown and Hoosier State Prospects also made his commitment. The senior guard selected Saint Mary’s of the Woods College.
Brady Pettigrew is starting to be a constant name in these articles as he continues to add more and more offers. The newest offer for the five-star sophomore guard of Bolingbrook and Meanstreets came from DePaul.
Quinton Kitt is starting to become one of the most popular 2027 targets in the entire Midwest region. The newest offer for the East Peoria and Meanstreets wing came from Michigan.
Case Western Reserve landed a commitment from Evan Nagler, a senior guard of Deerfield and Fundamental U.
It has been a monumental few days for junior Michael Woods. Not only did the point guard of Hammond Morton pick up his first division one offer but also his second. These came from Southern Utah and Incarnate Word.
From Hackett Catholic Prep and Strictly Skills, Leland Berg has made his college commitment. The senior wing picked Hillsdale College who had recently offered him.
