The first team consisted of Marquis Clark, Jaxson Davis, Christopher Kirkpatrick, Rashaun Porter, and Lincoln Williams. Then in the second team was Quinton Kitt, Mason Lockett, Brady Pettigrew, Colin Stack, and Jamsion White. Here are the five up next for the third team projections for Illinois all-state.
Stephen Brown – 2026 – F – Marist
Not only is Brown one of the top players and prospects in the state for basketball but this is also the case for football. He has shown the ability to be one of the most dominant interior players at 6’7” with his great athleticism and has also grown his offensive game into being able to score from all three levels. In each his sophomore and junior season, Brown earned 4A third team all-state.
Marshawn Cocroft – 2026 – PG – Kaneland
Cocroft has already accomplished a great deal in his high school career. In his sophomore season at Aurora Christian, he earned 1A first team all-state honors while getting them to the state semifinals. Then he made the move to Kaneland for his junior season and earned 3A third team all-state honors while getting them to the super-sectionals. Expect nothing different in his senior season and another huge high school season.
TyJuan Hunter – 2026 – PG – Hope Academy
While Hunter may not be as well as known as some of the others here playing for a small high school, there are not many players who has accomplished as much as he already has in his high school career. In his sophomore season, he earned second team all-state. This was followed by first team honors in addition to leading Hope to a 1A state title. He followed that up with a standout grassroots season with the Mac Irvin Fire.
Jordan Williams – 2026 – SF – Fremd
Williams is one of the most versatile and impactful players in the entire state. He is a true do-it-all, winning player. The 6’5” wing led Fremd to the 4A sectional finals last season as a junior while earning special mention all-state honors. Williams is committed to Illinois State.
Rykan Woo – 2026 – PG – DePaul Prep
Woo is coming off of one of the top seasons in the state. In addition to receiving 3A first team all-state honors, he also won a state title at DePaul Prep in his first season there. Woo is one of the top true floor generals and leaders in the state as well to his defensive abilities. The senior is committed to Brown.
