During this year, Isaiah Fox has been one of the fastest rising recruits in Wisconsin’s incredibly deep and talented 2027 class. The point guard of West Allis Central High School and the Power 5 program went from an under the radar player to one with several division one offers as one of the top point guards in the state.
It was back in March of this year that Fox picked up his first division one offer coming from Southern Indiana. He is now up to four offers from division one programs as Bethune Cookman, Incarnate Word, and most recently Eastern Illinois have also offered him.
After being offered by Eastern Illinois at the end of the summer, the junior recently took a visit there. “The visit to Eastern Illinois was good,” Fox said about his trip to the Ohio Valley Conference school. Adding in, “good energy with the coaches and players, overall a great visit.” When asked about his thoughts on them, he stated “What I like about them is how they stick together and uplift each other, they fit my playing style, very high on defense and good energy.”
In addition to his four current offers, Fox has been receiving interest from several other division one programs. The list includes Bradley, Green Bay, Milwaukee, and Western Kentucky.
In his sophomore season, Fox averaged 11.7 points, 5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.7 steals for the 21-7 West Allis Central. In his upcoming junior season, Fox is looking to win a state championship along with first team all-conference honors and hitting the one-thousand-point milestone.
