Brice Davis may very well be one of the best players in the class of 2022 in Texas that many people may not know much about.  The recent talent pool in the Dallas area has caused some really good players to go a bit unnoticed in terms of recruiting. Standing 6’6, the Bishop Lynch standout near Dallas, TX has created a buzz around the area for a being a hard worker and do it all player that simply wants to win.  The great work ethic on the court and in the classroom has put him a position that lines him up to be successful at the next level.

Offensively, he is one of the most active players that you will find.  He has a great feel for the game around the basket and does not force the issue.  He is super athletic and loves playing above the rim.  He has a soft touch on his mid-range shot and has put in the extra work to extend his range.  He is a good handler who has no problem putting in on the floor with either and hand and getting to the basket.  He has the size to finish at the rim with contact and is great at anticipating and getting offensive rebounds.  He also has great vision and can find open teammates in the half court as well as in transition.

Defensively, he is a great on ball defender.  He is quick and athletic enough to guard out on the perimeter as well as play against bigger opponents in the post.  He is a quick leaper and protects the rim when he is challenged.  He has no problem picking up full court and applying pressure or reading passing lanes and getting steals which lead to easy transition baskets.  All the tangibles that need to be productive at the next are things that he possesses, and we fully expect him to have a long and impactful career at the next level.

This upcoming winter season will be one that should send his name into the recruiting trails of some of the top programs in the region and beyond.  He will get a chance to showcase his skills against some of the best in Texas and fight for a chance to win a state title.  We are certain that he will embrace the moment and be ready to compete at the next level.
