Over the last few months Sean Peeters has become one of the more sought-after division two recruits in the Midwest. Peeters is a 6’4” senior at Assumption High School (IA) and played for the Quad City Elite program.

After a highly impressive summer, Peeters has picked up his first two scholarship offers from McKendree University and Winona State. As well he has interest from Hillsdale College, Truman State, among others. When asked what he is looking for in a college Peeters stated “I’m looking for a school where I can not only further my education and basketball career, but also somewhere that has a very prominent culture and close-knit team.”

While the forward said there are no leaders in his recruitment, he did say that he really enjoyed his visit to Winona State. He has also visited Hillsdale in addition to having a visit coming up at McKendree.

Peeters in an undersized forward but plays with tons of energy and athleticism to play big and more than make up for it. Over the last year he has continued to develop his guard skills that will be needed at the next level.

“I do not currently have any timetable on when I would like to commit, I am still open at this time.” Peeters seems more focused on the upcoming season than his commitment. His biggest goal he mentioned for his senior year is to win a state championship.
