Alec Millender of St. Rita High School (IL) has committed to Wayne State College and head coach Jeff Kaminsky. The news was announced via his high school program on twitter Tuesday.

Millender is a skilled playmaking 6’0” point guard. He was a standout this summer competing with the ET21 Buckeyes. At the NY2LA Next Level Invitational this July, Millender had a dominating tournament. He helped the Buckeyes to the 17U Platinum Championship. Millender was offered by Kaminsky and staff a few days following the tournament.

The senior is a dynamic and high IQ point guard with the ball in his hands. He distributes the ball very well but can also score it as well. He penetrates defenders often with his quickness and strong handle to create for himself and teammates. On the move Millender has great vision to find teammates.

Wayne State College is a division two school located in Wayne, Nebraska. They compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. After several losing seasons, the Wildcats were finally able to turn things around this past season on their way to a 21-10 season.
