Benet Academy in Illinois if off to a strong start thanks to do big and talented prospects.  Senior Kendrick Tchoua and Junior Colin Crothers are powering the attack and they’ve firmly positioned themselves as prospects to watch closely.

2020 6’7 SF Colin Crothers of Benet Academy in Lisle (IL), a double double machine on the hoops floor, is off to great start in his 2018-19 campaign. Crothers Benet squad is off to a strong start as well this year with a 7-1 record. Over the past week Crothers has posted double-doubles against St. Charles East and Dekalb high schools. He has a great feel for the game, he finishes well around the basket, he’s a tremendous rebounder, and he has the ability to step out and knock down shots from the perimeter.  A 23 point 13 rebound effort against St. Charles East and a 25 point 14 rebound effort against Dekalb are examples of what he’s been doing all year long.

Teamed up with Crothers is 2019 transfer from F 6’7 Kendrick Tchoua, a very athletic, strong physical body that is relentless when attacking the basket. Tchoua and his tremendous motor is payed off recently with a double-double game recently where he had a monster 28 point 11 rebound performance against St. Charles East.  He followed that up with a 15 point and 5 rebound game against Dekalb High School.

Two talented and upwards trending prospects, look for both Colin and Kendrick to continue their strong play heading into the upcoming Pontiac Holiday Tournament in Pontiac, IL as they’ve firmly positioned themselves as breakout players to watch early this season.
