South Carolina’s top 2019 prospect Christian Brown had one of the biggest summers out of anyone in the country.  Playing with one of the country's most flashy and well-known AAU teams in Game Elite 2019 who played up on the 17u level, Brown and company made serious noise on the Adidas Uprising circuit from start to finish.  Brown posted solid numbers averaging 15 points and 5 rebounds.  A legitimate top 25 caliber talent nationally (i.e. #15 in the most recent NY2LASPORTS.COM Player Rankings for the Class of 2019), Brown continues to move up the rankings and he once again looks primed for a huge spring and summer.

Brown is as explosive as anyone in his class and he loves to throw down highlight dunks.  He has the ability to score at all three levels.  The 6-6 forward has a smooth jump shot that can extend well beyond the arc when he gets going. He seems to excel when things get physical and he can finish through contact with consistency.  Defensively Brown gets after his opponents and loves to cause chaos. He doesn’t back down from anyone and he embraces every challenge as those who witnessed his matchup with Zion Williamson can attest.

In his ascent, the talented forward covered all his bases the past 8-12 months as he dominated at on the Adidas Gauntlet while also delivering some elite performances at other high caliber platforms including, but not limited to, the NY2LA Sports Summer Jam last July.  Mix in strong efforts during the high school year and it’s easy to see why he’s one of the most coveted 2019 prospects in the country right now.

Browns recruitment blew up during the spring and summer and he holds offers from schools all across the country including: Auburn, Georgia, Kansas, Baylor, Clemson, Connecticut, Florida, Florida State, Georgia State, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, LSU, Massachusetts, NC State, Oklahoma State, Saint Louis, South Carolina, Stanford, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF, UNLV, USC, VCU, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and Xavier.

Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina, and Yale are also expressing strong interest.
Coaches from Virgina Tech and South Carolina visited Brown in December and he has taken visits to Clemson and Georgia this month and took visits to NC State and South Carolina in the fall.  Look for Brown to continue to make noise on the national level as he’s one of the most highly regarded 2019 prospects in the country right now and he’s only trending upward.

Brown plays for the Game Elite 2019 team during the grassroots travel season.
