St. Louis has served as a proving grounds for some high caliber talent over the years and most recently names like Brad Beal, Jayson Tatum, Courtney Ramey, etc. have represented nationally on virtually every level.  Up next in the “Lou” could very well be Cam’Ron Fletcher, a 6-5 plus length Class of 2020 wing at Vashon High School in Missouri.

The emerging wing obviously passes the look test whenever he takes the court as physically he has size, a 7 foot plus wing span, and a frame that continues to look taller with each passing year.  Still growing and developing, Fletcher is far from a finished product physically and that’s scary considering his size, length, and versatility already.  The soaring wing can score off the bounce, he finishes in transition, and he has an emerging perimeter and mid-range game that continues to take strides forward and firmly establish him as an elite national prospect whose best basketball is in front of him.

The talented wing holds offers from Kansas State, Saint Louis, and Missouri State.  Kansas, Illinois, and Missouri are already showing early interest as well.  Another top 50 national caliber prospect potentially, Fletcher is just starting his ascent.  Expect to hear a lot about this emerging wing over the next 12-24 months as he looks and feels the part of one of the quickly developing big stories both regionally and nationally.

Fletcher plays with the Ramey-Jets United program during the grassroots travel season.
