Today we wrap up "RANKINGS WEEK" at NY2LASPORTS.COM with the release of our new Class of 2013 Top 100 National Player Rankings.  The 2013 class has a number of excellent talents up and down the board and it should come as no surpise to see a lot of these names generate major ink in the coming years.  Here's a look at the top 5...

(1)  JABARI PARKER 6-6 F - SIMEON CAREER ACADEMY - CHICAGO, ILLINOIS
The first ever freshman to don the varsity threads as the powerful Simeon program and Parker's debut goes for 16 on 6 of 9 shooting.  Ridiculous instincts, skill, and footwork for a young talent.  Sees the floor well, has an exceptional work ethic, and a versatile offensive package that includes the ability to score on the blocks, a mid range stroke, and range that extends beyond the arc.  As he continues to grow and improve his lower half, Parker will continue to challenge the top of these rankings.  A tremendous talent with exceptional potential, Parker is the measuring stick in the 2013 class regionally and nationally.  Collected an offer from Oregon State this week to add to his already full list of schools who've put it on the table.

(2)  NIGEL WILLIAMS-GOSS 6-3 PG - FINDLAY PREP - LAS VEGAS, NEVADA
An exceptionally skilled, instinctive, and dominant floor leader who's always in control with the ball in his hands.  Goss sees the floor well, handles it on a string, creates in transition, and is the model of an efficient dominant floor leader on the rise.  Athleticism and explosion needs to improve but he's a major dude with a huge future in front of him if he reaches his potential.

(3)  PETER JOK 6-5 G/F - DES MOINES ROOSEVELT - DES MOINES, IOWA
While Harrison Barnes set the table for Iowa on a national level the past few years, Jok is already ahead of where Barnes was at this age.  A ridiculous blend of size, instincts, altheticism and skill  We've raved about this young talent since he exploded on the scene during the 2009 NY2LASPORTS.COM SWISH & DISH SPRING WARM-UP much the same as Barnes did during the 2008 edition.  Last July a number of college coaches took to the sidelines at the NY2LASPORTS.COM NEXT LEVEL INVITATIONAL to see if Jok was as advertised as he squared off against fellow 2013 talent Alex Foster and his team.  Despite playing on one ankle due to an injury the night before, Jok still knocked down 5 trey balls in the first half and posted a 24 piece before the break that had the coaches buzzing.  Offers dropped on the spot and questions were answered for all who had them.  Bottom line is this young man is explosive, dominant, skilled, and still has an enormous amount of room to grow.  Has a lethal mid range and perimeter stroke that's virtually unstoppable when he gets it going.

(4)  AUSTIN COLBERT 6-9 F/C - ST. PATRICKS - ELIZABETH, NEW JERSEY
Excellent long athletic big with huge upside and potential.  Has solid shot blocking instincts, can score around the basket, and has the ability to step away and hit a mid range jumper as well on occasion.  Grabs this spot on upside as he has a huge future ahead of him if he continues to work hard and develop.  Another who could challenge for the top spot before its all said and done.

(5)  AARON HARRISON - 6-5 SG - STRAKE JESUIT COLLEGE PREP
An excellent young perimeter talent who can slide to the 1 or the 2 and dominate in that capacity.  Has excellent size, big time instincts, the ability to take over the game offensively and a ridiculous upside.  Has turned in a stellar career on the middle school travel circuit and looks the part of a superstar on the rise in a state that always does it big.  Love his game, potential, and ability to set the bar if he reaches his potential.
