An athletic, hard-nosed post prospect, Aurora (Ill.) Marmion Academy 2018 power forward started bursting onto the scene last spring/summer. Playing at a high level throughout the travel season, Sullivan seemingly came out of nowhere and grabbed his first offer from Chicago State in July.

“It was really exciting,” Sullivan told NY2LASPORTS.COM. “I just played hard and it felt like my hard work was paying off when it happened.  They thought I played really hard and went after everything. Just played 100 percent all the time.”

Sullivan is picking up interest from Kent State, Northern Illinois, and SIU-Edwardsville heading into the spring.

“I think all three are pretty serious right now,” he said. “We’ll see how it goes during the summer. They tell me to keep playing hard and work on my game, work on my jump shot. They all said they’re excited to see me play.”

Northern Illinois hosted Sullivan last month for their clash with Western Michigan.  “It was a great game, it was senior night,” he said. “It was really fun to see everyone support the team. The facilities were great and the coaches were really nice. It was a great environment. That would be a fun place to play.”

Sullivan will go through the next two evaluation periods before even considering making a decision. He listed coaching, team chemistry, facilities, and academics as the most important factors in his decision.  “I would definitely want to play it out and see who offers me,” he said. “I have no clue where I want to attend school yet.”
