Ethan Happ delivered again for Wisconsin while Deonte Burton erupted in a big win for Iowa State.  Names like Eric Mika, Charlie Moore, Donovan Mitchell, etc. also stepped up with big efforts on the college hardwood over the weekend.  Here’s a look at that and more as we recap some of the high level alumni performances in college basketball this past weekend…

Evan Boudreaux (Team NLP) poured in 21 points and 12 rebounds, but Dartmouth fell 69-64 to Princeton.

Jonathan Motley (Houston Defenders) led No. 2 Baylor 17 points and 14 rebounds, but the Bears dropped a 56-54 decision to Kansas State. 

Iowa State upset No. 3 Kansas 92-89 thanks to 28 points and eight rebounds from Deonte Burton (TP Elite). Frank Mason (Team Loaded) scored 32 points and dished out five assists for the Jayhawks.

Marcus LoVett (Mac Irvin Fire) went for 23 points, six assists, and four steals, but St. John’s lost 92-79 at No. 4 Villanova. 

No. 1 Gonzaga dropped Santa Clara 90-55 at home. Zach Collins (Dream Vision) chipped in with 14 points and eight rebounds.

Donovan Mitchell (The City) led No. 6 Louisville to a 90-67 win over Boston College with a game-high 19 points.

No. 14 Cincinnati picked up an 82-68 win over UConn thanks to 27 points and eight rebounds from Kyle Washington (Howard Pulley). 

Melo Trimble (D.C. Premiere) had 22 points and five assists, but No. 17 Maryland dropped a 73-72 decision to No. 23 Purdue.

Jaaron Simmons (All-Ohio Red) exploded for 38 points, 10 rebounds, and five assists to lead Ohio past Akron 85-70 at home.

Alec Peters (Illinois Irish) went for 20 points and eight rebounds, but Valparaiso fell 86-69 at Green Bay.

Dayton dropped Duquesne 90-53. Kendall Pollard (Meanstreets) led the way with 16 points and five rebounds on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting.

Kentrell Barkley (Team Loaded) had 14 points, 12 rebounds, and six assists as East Carolina topped Tulane 74-65 at home.

Loyola (IL) fell 67-61 to Southern Illinois. Donte Ingram (D-Rose All-Stars) posted 22 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.

Dennis Smith Jr. (Team Loaded) went for 31 points and nine rebounds, but North Carolina State dropped an 84-79 decision to Miami (FL). 

Wake Forest picked up an 81-69 home victory over Georgia Tech. John Collins (Florida Flash) led the way with 20 points and 11 boards. 

Paul Miller (Wisconsin Shooters) posted 21 points and eight rebounds, but North Dakota State fell 76-66 to South Dakota.

Milwaukee was topped 105-100 by UIC at home. Brock Stull (Rockford Ambassadors) had a game-high 30 points and nine rebounds in the loss.

Reggie Lynch (Minnesota Fury) had 15 points and six rebounds to lead Minnesota to a 68-59 victory at Illinois. Kipper Nichols (King James Shooting Stars) had 16 points and six rebounds to pace the Illini. 

Toledo couldn’t get past Bowling Green 104-100, but Steve Taylor Jr. (Mac Irvin Fire) went for 25 points and 13 boards in the loss.

Stanford picked up an 81-75 home win over Utah. Reid Travis (Howard Pulley) led the way with a game-high 26 points.

Jordan Barnett (St. Louis Eagles) led Missouri with 17 points in an 83-78 victory over Arkansas.

Eric Mika (Utah Reign) posted 23 points and 12 rebounds as BYU defeated Portland 73-62 at home.

Ethan Happ (Quad City Elite) had 20 points and seven rebounds as No. 10 Wisconsin held off Indiana 65-60 at home. Nigel Hayes (All-Ohio Red) chipped in with 15 points and 10 boards for the Badgers. 

Iowa knocked of Nebraska 71-60 at home. Jordan Bohannon (Martin Bros.) led the way with 15 points. 

Charlie Moore (Mac Irvin Fire) led California to a 77-66 win over Colorado by scoring a team-high 17 points and dishing out eight assists.
