One of the highest upsides in the Midwest, regardless of class, Racine (Wis.) Park 2019 F/C Nobal Days has stayed busy during the season. Making a number of visits to Midwest schools, Days is remaining patient as his recruitment continues to take off.

“I’m still feeling things out,” Days told NY2LASPORTS.COM. “I’m going to try and see if I can get more offers during the AAU season. The sophomore and junior years are the biggest years. So I’m waiting to see how that plays out.”

Days holds early offers from DePaul, Illinois, Marquette, UNLV, and Wisconsin.  The 6-foot-9, 200-pound sophomore visited Wisconsin on Sunday.  "It was great, it was a good atmosphere, especially for a Big Ten game," Days said. "That's how it's supposed to be. They needed that win to stay on top of the Big Ten and everybody showed up. It was a good game."

Marquette also hosted Days for their in-state showdown with the Badgers back in December.  “I just like how it’s in a bigger gym,” he said. “The student section gets more into it. You can hear coach Wojo (Steve Wojciechowski) screaming and yelling. It’s really fun.”

Days is picking up interest from Northwestern, North Carolina, Virginia, Arizona, Notre Dame, Iowa, and Ohio State this season.  The Wildcats had him on campus for the Iowa game last month.

“I like coach (Chris) Collins and how their style of play really gets everyone involved. They feed the bigs. They really know how to cut and move and get shooters open. It’s a good system down there.”

Days’ next visit is likely a return trip to Wisconsin on Feb. 19.  Still no favorites in his recruitment, Days is keeping an open mind and letting all schools get their crack at him.  “I kind of like them all,” he said. “They all have different things that separate them from each other.”

Days played with the Butler Elite program last summer and he will be competing with the Playground Elite program this upcoming spring and summer.
