The college hardwood saw a number of talented alumni deliver on Wednesday and Thursday including, but not limited to, the Trevon Bluiett who erupted for 40 points for Xavier in a loss.  Here’s a look at him and others who stood out the past couple nights in college hoops action…

Thursday
Derek Pardon (King James Shooting Stars) dropped 19 points and 22 rebounds to help Northwestern upend Nebraska 73-61 at home. Vic Law (Meanstreets) added 20 points and five boards for the Wildcats.

Trevon Bluiett (Indiana Elite) exploded for 40 points and four rebounds, but No. 24 Xavier fell 86-78 at No. 19 Cincinnati. 

Elon edged Northeastern 51-49 thanks to 15 points and eight rebounds from Tyler Seibring (Central Illinois Net Gain).

Tyler Hall (Quad City Elite) dropped 31 points to help Montana to a 94-91 victory over Idaho. 

Jared Brownridge (Illinois Wolves) scored 25 points and added five rebounds and four assists to lead Santa Clara to a 76-68 victory over BYU. Eric Mika (Utah Reign) had 22 points and eight rebounds for the Cougars. 

Wednesday
Johnathan Motley (Houston Defenders) recorded 25 points and nine rebounds as No. 5 Baylor edged Texas Tech 65-61 at home.

Markel Crawford (Atlanta Xpress) totaled 15 points, seven rebounds, and five assists, but Memphis dropped a 77-66 decision at Temple.

SMU picked up a 65-60 win at UCF thanks to 19 points, six rebounds, and four assists from Shake Milton (Mokan Elite). 

Marcus Lovett (Mac Irvin Fire) went for 26 points to lead St. John’s past Providence 91-86.

Jordan Barnet (St. Louis Eagles) had 18 points and eight boards, but Missouri fell 89-74 at Mississippi State.

Ohio State defeated Minnesota 78-72 led by 19 points from Marc Loving (All-Ohio Red).

East Carolina survived 69-66 over Tulsa. Kentrell Barkley (Team Loaded VA) had a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Brandon Gilbeck (Wisconsin Swing) had 12 points and seven rebounds, but Western Illinois dropped a 62-55 decision at South Dakota.

North Dakota State topped Oral Roberts 81-71 at home. Dexter Werner (ECI Prospects) led the way with 19 points.

Luke McDonnell (Iowa Barnstormers) went for 14 points and 12 rebounds as Northern Iowa knocked off Evansville 61-54 at home.

Donte Ingram (D-Rose All-Stars) led Loyola (IL) to a 70-50 win over Bradley with a game-high 24 points and seven rebounds.
