The November signing period begins in just two days. A number of the nation’s prospects are still on the board, but are expected to make decisions within the next week.  Here’s some news and notes from around the recruiting world this morning…
Minnesota hosted Rochester (Minn.) John Marshall 2019 small forward Matthew Hurt and Edina (Minn.) DeLaSalle 2018 shooting guard Gabe Kalscheur for their exhibition game on Thursday.

Racine (Wis.) Park 2019 F/C Nobal Days visited Northwestern on Friday. Days holds offers from UNLV, Wisconsin, DePaul, Illinois, and Marquette.

Sun Prairie (Wis.) 2020 point guard Jalen Johnson visited Wisconsin for their exhibition game. Johnson is also receiving early interest from Marquette.

Saint Paul (Minn.) Cretin Derham Hall 2018 F/C Daniel Oturu picked up an offer from Kansas. The Jayhawks join Minnesota, Creighton, Baylor, Memphis, Providence, Nebraska, and others.

Waupun (Wis.) 2019 small forward Marcus Domask received his first offer from Green Bay. He’s also receiving interest from Milwaukee, Drake, Northern, Iowa, and San Diego State.

Milwaukee (Wis.) Riverside 2018 guard Carlos Curtis has had Indiana State, Minnesota, North Dakota State, Loyola (IL), and South Dakota State in for open gyms recently. 

Las Vegas (Nev.) Centennial 2017 guard Troy Brown Jr. will announce his decision on Monday. He will decide between Ohio State, Alabama, Georgetown, Oregon, and Kansas. 

Reading (Pa.) 2017 guard Lonnie Walker visited Kentucky over the weekend. He’s also visited Miami (Sept. 30), Arizona (Oct. 14), Villanova (Oct. 28). Syracuse is expected to get the final official visit this weekend.

La Porte (Ind.) La Lumiere 2019 point guard Tyger Campbell visited Michigan State last Sunday. Campbell has offers from the Spartans, Purdue, Ole Miss, TCU, Illinois, Creighton, UNLV, Alabama, SMU, Virginia Tech, and others.
