Minneapolis (Minn.) Robbinsdale Cooper 2014 wing Rashad Vaughn holds a bounty of offers with a list that includes the likes of Baylor, Florida, Georgetown, Iowa State, Kansas, Memphis, Minnesota, Syracuse, Tennessee, and Texas amongst others.  We caught up with the talented junior this past weekend to get an update...

"It's been good," Vaughn told NY2LASPORTS.COM Saturday from the Midwest Players Classic in La Crosse, Wisconsin. "The hard work's paying off. A lot more coaches are calling and texting. Really, I'm just focused on the season right now.”

"I'm looking forward to narrowing down my list at some point. I don't know when though. It's been difficult to figure out who to cut out and who not. It's really who I just have the best relationship with and who I can fit in with at that college."

Vaughn has made a few visits to Minnesota already this season. The Gophers have certainly grabbed his attention with their surprising start to the season.

"They've been playing well and they've been getting up and down the floor," Vaughn said.

"The visit, it was good. The atmosphere was great, the fans were chanting. They've been looking good this year."

Up next for Vaughn is an unofficial visit to Iowa State when the Cyclones host Baylor on February 2nd.

"I have a good relationship with Coach (Fred) Hoiberg," he said. "They play my style of offense too."

Although no date is set, Vaughn also plans to get to Kansas this season for another unofficial visit to Lawrence.

"I like how they get up and down the floor too," he said. "They really do a lot of pick and roll stuff. The atmosphere is crazy at Kansas. Coach Bill Self, I like him and how he coaches that program and makes them better."

The junior swing man also broke down a few of the other schools who remain under consideration.

Florida: "They've been coming in. They've been up twice already, so they're showing a lot of interest. It was cool to get a good offer from them. I like how they play, because they get up and down the floor too. They just had Bradley Beal, and we play kind of the same way."
Georgetown: "They get up and down too. I have a good relationship with Coach (Mike) Brennan from there."

Louisville: ""Louisville, we have a good relationship. They've been down a couple times. I've talked to Coach (Rick) Pitino. I like how he develops his players and how they get up and down the floor too."

Tennessee: "I like how they play. If I go there, they would make me a better player."

Vaughn said Kentucky and North Carolina have both been expressing plenty of interest as of late.  The Minnesota native is focused on building relationships with each program at the moment.

"Kentucky, we've just been talking." said Vaughn. "Same thing, building a relationship. Really just how they play, their success as a program, and Coach Cal's track record of putting players in the league stands out."

"Same thing with North Carolina. I like how they play too and we're just building the relationship."

Vaughn plays for Net Gain Sports during the grassroots season.
