The
University of Kentucky struck big on the recruiting trial moments ago as 6'10"
Class of 2010 Dominique Ferguson of Lawrence North High School in Indiana
verbally committed to play for the Wildcats.
Ferguson is one of the top prizes in the Class of 2010 both regionally and nationally and a perfect fit for the SEC in terms of his length, athleticism, and potential versatility at the collegiate ranks.
"I really fell in love with Kentucky and the coaching staff when I visited earlier this year," Ferguson said. "I really like coach Gillespie and coach Webster, they both made me feel very comfortable," Ferguson added.
This is a major grab for Kentucky as Ferguson is the size, length, athleticism, and potential to become a major force at the collegiate level. Last year he played with the SYF Players and this spring he's playing with the Chicago Express on the travel circuit.
