One of the best kept secrets in the Midwest is putting it down at Indianapolis Lawrence High School, 6'2" combo guard Kyree Jones who stands as one of the top Class of 2009 prospects in the Midwest.
The scoring machine finished up a very strong April performance by leading the Meanstreets 17U team into the Elite 8 of the King James Shooting Stars Classic this past weekend. Earlier this month, Jones was sensational in his all-tournament performance at the 2008 Swish & Dish Spring Warm-Up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin while playing with the Spiece Rising Stars.
Jones can fill it up in a number of ways as he has solid dribble penetration skills, attacks the rim well, can step back and stroke the trey ball, is physical, and pretty much can get it done whenever he takes the floor.
Look for Jones's stock to continue to rise this spring/summer as he is yet another quality Class of 2009 scoring threat in the Midwest.
